Art and Life with Stumbles!
A lovely painting Sherrie! Your petals look so light and soft and show up so well against the dark, moody background.
what a lovely painting,is this oil? The table color is so warm and rich and really sets off the vase and flower. great job.
This is lovely Sherrie! That glass bowl is terrific!
Sherrie,I like the delicate edges to the petals and the reflections in the glass bowl...very nice.

I love the bright colors and shine. Nice work.
Sherrie, I really like your VSD for September....your petals are so soft and you did a great job of getting the reflections in the vase. I also like the colors that you used on the table. Thank you for introducing me to this group.
very nicely done, a sweet painting.
Sherrie, I really like your color choices and the way you dealt with the reflections in the vase. Very nicely done.
lovely....and there is so much movement in the glass.
Lovely work Sherrie!I like the soft pink against the dark background.
I love the glass great job on the petals too - it looks like oil and I like the way your brush strokes follow the curves of the flower -
So pretty! I love the way the petals float against the dark background :)
Oh, beautiful work! I love the way you have done the bowl and the petals are just perfect!
Love the blues you got in the water in the vase. Nice job.
very nice painting ~ I love the petals of the flowers!
Wow, your colors really make that table vibrate against that dark background! You really found a way to make the whole image as interesting as those petals!
Thank-you all for the wonderful comments! You are too! too! Kind. I am re-photographing today. I was so excited. My first full Acrylic in a long time. I used Daler-Rowney and Utrecht heavy body acrylics. Maybe you can see this maybe not. That Blue is fully across the back of that Ampersand Gessobord, 9"x12". The same for the table. I should have taken stage photos. I laid the petals in with white, then painted over with Iridescent white. Then I came back with White and red for the Petals. Edges of Petals are hard work. I am doing an acrylic grayscale this weekend on Ampersand Gessobord.Than-you all so much!Sherrie Roberts
Great reflections - it takes serious "looking" to be able to capture all that. Good job!
Thank- Regina! I have had so many wonderful comments. I am so thankful, you noted the reflections. It is a new turn in the road for me.Sherrie Roberts
