VSD May 2009
Well I missed the dead line. However, I did my Sketch Date for May. I just did not get back in time to post. I went to New York to see the Picasso show.. Needless to say I have been working on this months Photo provided by: a Parent of two beautiful daughters at a Hoedown.

I have used both the Regular and Thin Pencils.

Well, here is my VSD_09March entry. All colored Pencils. Prismacolor.It was a joy to do. I have scruffy new baby bird for Spring.

VSD_FEB2009
This is the Virtual Sketch Date for February. The original photo is by Debbie Later. I have been watching all the ones uploaded and they are wonderful!
My Sketch is done mainly in Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I also used some Derwent Colored Pencils. Both of these brands are very creamy. I find if I keep sharp blades in my battery operated and hand held sharpeners. I have little or no breakage. Thank-you for asking about the media. All I did to the photo was crop. It came out very well for iPhone.

It is here! All the way from Australia. Sketchbook "JOY". This is so much more than I expected. It is just a beautiful book.
I am doing sketches in my big Sketchbook and writing ideas on how to begin the Illumination of the wonderful gift. There are many pages. Very nice cover. The leaves are well sewn.
