A lovely painting Sherrie! Your petals look so light and soft and show up so well against the dark, moody background.

Sherrie, I really like your VSD for September....your petals are so soft and you did a great job of getting the reflections in the vase. I also like the colors that you used on the table. Thank you for introducing me to this group.

I love the glass great job on the petals too - it looks like oil and I like the way your brush strokes follow the curves of the flower -

Wow, your colors really make that table vibrate against that dark background! You really found a way to make the whole image as interesting as those petals!

Thank-you all for the wonderful comments! You are too! too! Kind. I am re-photographing today. I was so excited. My first full Acrylic in a long time. I used Daler-Rowney and Utrecht heavy body acrylics. Maybe you can see this maybe not. That Blue is fully across the back of that Ampersand Gessobord, 9"x12". The same for the table. I should have taken stage photos.
I laid the petals in with white, then painted over with Iridescent white. Then I came back with White and red for the Petals. Edges of Petals are hard work.
I am doing an acrylic grayscale this weekend on Ampersand Gessobord.

Than-you all so much!

Great reflections - it takes serious "looking" to be able to capture all that. Good job!
